Aveda has unveiled a powerful new lightener for stylists and guests seeking enhanced lift and performance. Responding to unanimous feedback from stylists requesting a stronger option for darker hair types, the new High Lift Enlightener offers increased lifting power while maintaining Aveda’s commitment to hair integrity.

This advanced formula lifts up to 9 levels in just 45 minutes, surpassing the Traditional Enlightener’s 7 levels in the same timeframe. Designed for versatility, the High Lift Enlightener works exceptionally well for foiling, balayage, and freeform painting techniques. It’s an excellent choice for stylists specializing in highlights, bleach and tone services, and double process applications, but remains an alternative rather than a replacement—stylists can continue using the Traditional Enlightener if it meets their needs.

The innovation behind this product lies in its unique blend of persulfates, combined with cooling pigments to counteract unwanted warmth for more balanced, refined results. Additionally, it can be used both on and off the scalp and does not require mixing with Enlightener Creme Booster, streamlining the application process.
